Installing DropWired
To use the DropWired app you must be a ShopWired account holder. If you don’t already have a ShopWired account you can create one here.
To begin using the app you will first need to follow these three steps:
- Install the app within your ShopWired account.
- Install the Google Chrome extension to connect your DropWired account to AliExpress.
- Sync your API keys

Installing the app
Once you have created your ShopWired account you will need to install the free DropWired app within your account. To install the app select from the menu of the ShopWired platform. Find and select the ‘DropWired’ app:
Then select INSTALL THIS APP.
The platform will then tell you what the DropWired app will have access to within your account. To proceed select INSTALL THIS APP which will then open the DropWired dashboard.
Accessing DropWired
Once the app is installed you can access DropWired in two ways:
1. You can login directly through the DropWired website at www.dropwired.com using the same login information that you would for your ShopWired account. If you are already logged in to your ShopWired account visiting the DropWired website will immediately show you your DropWired dashboard.
2. Or you can access DropWired from within the ShopWired platform by selecting from the menu. This will open your DropWired dashboard.
Installing the Google Chrome extension
In order to connect your DropWired account to AliExpress you will need to install the DropWired Google Chrome extension which has been developed by ShopWired specifically for the DropWired app. The DropWired Chrome extension is a small piece of additional software that extends the functionality of the browser once installed.
The Google Chrome extension only works in the Google Chrome browser. This means you will need to use the Chrome browser whenever you want to import products or place orders on AliExpress. You cannot use other browsers (such as Firefox, Safari or Internet Explorer).
If you do not have Chrome installed on your computer you can download it here.
Once you are using Google Chrome as your browser, download the DropWired extension by selecting the ‘Getting Started’ tab from the menu of your DropWired account (the icon for this tab looks like a rocket):
On this page select click here to download the extension:
Alternatively, you can access the extension here.
On the page that opens select Add to Chrome:
And then select Add extension from the popup box:
Once the extension is installed return to your DropWired dashboard to sync your account’s API keys.
Syncing your API keys
In order for the extension to work you must sync your account’s API keys with the extension. On the ‘Getting Started’ page of your DropWired account select sync your API keys:
You will then receive this success message:
If you do not receive the success message, you should refresh the page and try again.
