Category data
The switching to us feature on ShopWired can automatically migrate all your categories (including hierarchy structure and images) from your EKM account to ShopWired in just a few minutes.
Product data
The switching to us feature on ShopWired will allow you to migrate all the information about your products from your EKM account to ShopWired in just a few minutes.
All data about your products, including the product images, will be migrated across automatically.

Customer data
You can also use the switching to us feature to migrate your customer records from EKM to ShopWired.
All data about your customers can be migrated (name, email, phone, address) automatically. Unfortunately it is not possible to migrate passwords, so customer passwords will need to be reset. More details on how to achieve a smooth transition for your customers can be found on the help guide about customer migration.

Product reviews
Reviews left on your products cannot be migrated - unfortunately EKM do not provide a product review export. Reviews will therefore need to be migrated manually (either by creating the reviews one-by-one or alternatively you can use ShopWired's review import system.
Website theme and content
You cannot use an EKM template on ShopWired and instead you'll need to choose a new theme for your website from the ShopWired theme store.
You will need to copy content (pages like 'About Us') across from your EKM account to ShopWired.

301 redirects
You will need to consider what 301 redirects you need.
When you are putting together your list of 301 redirects for your migration from EKM, there are a couple of things you should keep in mind due to how product URLs are configured on EKM:
- On EKM when you change a product name the slug is automatically updated, so it's possible that your product has existed at different URLs if you have changed the product name in EKM. You will want to include each iteration of the URL within your 301 redirects.
- On EKM products with variants may have been coded differently throughout your time with them. Different variables may have included v=0&variantid=, &variantid= or _=&variantid.
These differences will have resulted in multiple different URLs being created for one product, and you will want to include each iteration within your 301 redirects.
