Google Shopping privacy policy

1. This privacy policy sets out how Platform 21 Limited (hereafter referred to as ‘ShopWired’) uses, processes and protects the information that you supply when using the ShopWired Google Shopping app (hereafter referred to as 'the app').

2. Platform 21 Limited is a company registered in England & Wales with company number 12507062 whose registered office is at Suite 4, 17 Wrens Court, Sutton Coldfield B72 1RT.

For the purposes of providing all of the ShopWired services we act as both a data controller and data processor.

3. ShopWired is committed to ensuring the privacy and security of your data, and the data that is sent to the Google Merchant Center service by ShopWired, and data received by Google & Google Shopping relating to your Google Account.

4. Any information stored by ShopWired in connection with the App will be stored in accordance with this privacy policy.

5. This policy may be updated from time-to-time.

How ShopWired Accesses Google Data

6. The App accesses data about your Google account through the use of a connection and authentication procedure known as 'OAuth'.

7. When you click to connect your Google account with the App, you are authorising ShopWired to receive and send data from Google. Specifically, each time the App needs to access data from a Google Merchant Center it will make a request to Google APIs using an 'access token' that is stored by ShopWired.

How ShopWired Uses Google Data

8. Using the Content API provided by Google, the App sends details about the products on your ShopWired store to Google Merchant Center, known as product listings. The App also retrieves status information about the product listings so that it can provide information about them from within the App configuration page in your ShopWired account.

9. Data provided by Google that is stored on ShopWired includes status information about product listings, and your user credentials (the 'access token'). This data is stored on a database that is only accessible by the App or internally within the ShopWired organisation.

10. You may request details of information that we hold about you under the GDPR. If you would like a copy of the information held on you please contact us.

How ShopWired Shares Google Data

11. ShopWired does not share Google Data, data about your product listings, you or your company or any user information to any third party whatsoever.

12. Incorporated in this Privacy Policy are the terms of our Data Processor Agreement which can be read at https://help.shopwired.co.uk/manual/gdpr/data-processor-agreement . Where a difference arises between a term in this Privacy Policy and the Data Processor Agreement, the Data Processor Agreement will take precedence and the term in that document shall prevail and have legal effect.

13. Incorporated in this Privacy Policy are also the policies and guidance laid out in our set of help and guidance articles at https://help.shopwired.co.uk/manual/gdpr. Where a difference arises between the guidance issued on our resources website and this Privacy Policy, the guidance on the resources website shall take precedence and the term or stipulation shall prevail and have legal effect.
