Handover procedure

Once you've finished building a website for a client using a development account, you'll want to hand it over to a client.

If you haven't already, you can either supply them with the login details you created when you created the development account or install the free user accounts app and create a user account for them.

You can then send them the login details along with the ShopWired plan that you recommend that they sign up to. Activating a paid plan on the account will transform it from a development account to a managed account.

You should also send them:

• How to access the website (i.e. the myshopwired.com temporary domain name)
• Details on how to make the website live on their custom domain name (or do it for them)
• Details of how to get in touch with ShopWired support if they need to
• Anything else you'd recommend (apps to download, webinars to watch)

Once they've signed up for a paid account you'll start receiving referral commission on the monthly (or annual) payments they make to us.
