Importing product reviews
Product reviews can be imported into your account by creating a spreadsheet. The spreadsheet must be in a specific format in order to work. You can download a copy of the template here:

Field guidance
The file has 11 fields which you should fill in using the following field guidance:
product_handle
In this field place the final part of the URL (known as 'the path') for the product on your website. For example, if the URL for one of your products is http://www.excitingapparel.com/dresses/simple-cami-dress in the product_handle field you would type simple-cami-dress.
state
The state field determines if the review will be published on your website. Write published here so the review displays.
rating
This field is for the rating for the review. As a rating can only be between 1 and 5 the only available values for this field are 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5.
title
In this field place the title of the review. This field is optional.
author
In this field place the name of the customer who left the review.
In this field place the email address of the customer who left the review.
location
In this field place the location of the customer who left the review (e.g. London). This field is optional.
body
In this field place the content of the review itself. HTML tags are not allowed.
reply
If your current review system allows you to reply to reviews you can place the reply here. This field is optional.
created_at
In this field place the date that the review was created. The date should be in this format: YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS UTC This field is optional.
replied_at
In this field place the date that the reply was made. The date should be in this format: YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS UTC This field is optional.
Saving the spreadsheet
Once you have finished inputting the reviews into the spreadsheet you must save it as a CSV file. If you are using an Apple computer save the file as a ‘Windows Comma Separated (.csv)’ file. If you save the spreadsheet in any other format the upload will not work.
Importing the reviews
Once you have saved your spreadsheet you can upload it to the system for importing.
To import the reviews select from the menu. Find the ‘Import Your Reviews’ section:
In the ‘Existing Website Provider’ box select Shopify. It doesn’t matter that the reviews are not actually being imported from Shopify:
Then select Choose file to select the file from your computer’s hard drive. The file must be a CSV file:
Once you have attached the file select upload & process the import.
The system will then process the import and will tell you how many reviews it thinks are contained within the document:
If the number sounds correct select proceed.
Once the file is finished uploading you will see a success message:
