App Sections

What are app sections?

App sections/blocks and similar to the content sections and content blocks that you can add to Version 5 themes, but are hosted and provided by apps which are installed in your ShopWired account (in the same way that you install other apps).

Once you've installed an app in ShopWired that uses the app sections system, when using the theme customiser for a Version 5 theme you'll notice an add a new app section button displayed.

On clicking this, any sections/blocks that can be added to your theme for the app will be displayed.

You can then configure the app section/block in the same way that other sections and blocks are configured on Version 5 themes.
