Shipping charges
When you import a product from AliExpress to DropWired we'll automatically set a specific delivery price for the item. This will be based on what shipping method was selected on the DropWired Chrome extension when you imported the product.
When you import the product from DropWired to ShopWired, delivery for the item will be based on your normal ShopWired delivery charges. This means:
i) If the item has a specific delivery price this will override any more delivery rates set on the account
ii) If the item does not have a specific delivery price, the normal delivery rates set on the account will be available to the user to choose from
At present, DropWired does not support the import of delivery rates/prices for the entire range of shipping options available for a specific item on AliExpress.
Shipping information
When viewing a category page on the AliExpress website select the DropWired icon in the top right of the browser (indicated by the arrow in the screenshot below).
Clicking the icon will display a range of options for you to choose from.
Shipping Display - this toggles whether shipping information is displayed as an overlay on the product image.
Shipping Option - this selects which shipping service information will be displayed about.
Country - this selects which country, for the shipping option selected, is displayed.
Currency - this selects in which currency shipping pricing is displayed.
Hide Non Applicable Items - this toggles whether products that do not have the selected shipping option are hidden from view.
Show Processing Time - this toggles whether or not we also display information about the processing time. The processing time is the amount of time it takes, on average, for the merchant to process the order and prepare it for shipment, it is not the amount of time taken to delivery the product.
Once you have selected your options, each product will be shown with an overlay detailing the shipping information, as shown in the example below.
In the above example row of products:
Product 1 has the ePacket delivery service available and delivery to the United Kingdom costs £1.48, the order processing time is 7 days
Product 2 also offers ePacket delivery for £3.07 to the UK, the order processing time is 5 days
Product 3 also offers ePacket delivery for £3.46, the order processing time is 5 days
Product 4 does not offer the ePacket delivery service
Product level shipping information
When viewing an individual product on AliExpress you can select to view shipping charges (for each service and to each country) by clicking on the shipping options text.
This is just above the 'buy now' button.
Clicking here will display a popup window where you can select the 'ship to' country (i.e. where the product will be delivered to) and all the delivery services that are available and how much each one costs.
Shipping information on imported products
On the imported products page of your DropWired account (select 'imported products' from the left menu), for each product you have imported from AliExpress we display information about all the shipping options available. For an imported product select the 'shipping info' tag.
You can select to see the delivery cost/available shipping services for a country by selecting the country from the drop down list.
