Shipping times and reviews
AliExpress hosts products from a very large number of manufacturers.
Whilst most of these manufacturers are based within either China or other Far-Eastern countries, many products have different shipping locations. Choosing products that are located closer to you/your customers means a much reduced shipping time.
'Ship from' location
When browsing the AliExpress website you can use the 'ship from' drop down to choose to display products that will be shipped from locations closer to you.
Selecting a ship from location will filter out any products that don't ship from the selected location.
When viewing a product you can view the estimated delivery date when shipping from different locations, as shown in the screenshot below.
Product reviews
AliExpress offers a feedback/review facility for each item. This means that you view reviews about the products you are considering selling, before you list them for sale on your online store.
Viewing the product reviews will often give you an insight into both product quality and shipping times.
Helpfully, customers will often upload images of the product they received so you can judge how well the images listed by the merchant match the customer's experience.
To view product reviews, click the 'customer reviews' tab on the product listing page.
You can filter to only display reviews which have a particular 'star value' and also click to only view reviews with photos.
To view the images attached to a review just click the image thumbnail.
