Why aren't changes I've made showing in Google?

Google doesn't update its index of search results in real time so if you make a change to the meta tags of a particular page of your website, the changes won't show in Google for a while.

Depending on what page you have made the changes to, it can take anywhere up to 2 or even 4 weeks for the changes to appear.

If the change is to the home page of your website you should, normally, see it change on Google within a few days.
