Data Protection Officer

ShopWired has appointed Data Protection Officers to oversee it's activities as a data processor.

An individual Data Protection Officer has been appointed for each of the following legal entities in their capacities as Data Processors and Data Sub-Processors of data we process on behalf of ShopWired Users:

Platform 21 Limited, registered in England and Wales
ShopWired Operations Limited, registered in England and Wales
Platform 43 Limited, registered in England and Wales

To contact a Data Protection Officer please email

In your email, please include your reasons for contacting the DPO and your enquiry will be forwarded to the appropriate Officer.

The DPO directly reports to our highest level of management within the organisation and has complete independence in order to perform their tasks and responsibilities.

The DPO is involved in all issues and matters that relate to the protection of personal data that we process.

The DPO is sufficiently well resourced to be able to perform their tasks.

No other tasks or duties assigned to the DPO will result in a conflict of interest with their role as DPO.

Tasks of the DPO

The DPO is tasked with monitoring compliance at ShopWired with the GDPR and other relevant data protection legislation as well as our own internal data protection policies. Their task also includes raising awareness with other members of the ShopWired team around data protection legislation and they are responsible for the internal training of team members.

The DPO is always consulted in relation to information security and data processing activities and provide information on our obligations as a data processor.

When carrying out a DPIA the DPO monitors the entire process.

The DPO acts as a point of contact for the relevant data protection regulatory body of the member states in which the organisation resides.
