Testing

ShopWired Payments is continuously tested by ShopWired's team of engineers to ensure reliability, security and integrity of the functionality.

It is therefore not necessary for you to test the card transaction process yourself.

If you'd like to test certain functions of your store such as what customers see when they place an order, the emails they receive, and how you will manage orders you receive - you can use the offline payment method which will allow you to place orders through your ShopWired website without making a card transaction.

If you would still like to test the payment gateway yourself, you will need to do so in 'live mode' which means placing a live card transaction using your own card. You should keep the payment amount to a minimum (it must be above 50p but we'd advise no more than £1).

Any ShopWired Payments fees that are charged on test transactions you place with live cards are not refundable.
