Bulk order status update app
You can use the bulk order status update app to update up to 1,000 orders at a time using a CSV file that you upload to the app. The app can:
- Update order status
- Add tracking URLs
- Trigger an order status email
To install the app:
- Navigate to Apps
- Locate the Bulk order status update app
- Select Install this app
Preparing a CSV file
To update orders in bulk, prepare a CSV file using spreadsheet editing software such as Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets with the following column headings:
Order ID
- Enter the order references of the orders you want to update
Order Status
- Enter the new order status for each order
- Ensure you write the new order status in the exact same way it is configured in your ShopWired account
Tracking URL
- Enter the value you want to set for the tracking URL field for each order
- This column is optional
Send Email
- Enter either

to send an order status email to notify the customer of the change of status of their order

Please note!
Your CSV file should contain no more than 1,000 orders
Uploading your CSV file
To upload your CSV file:
- Navigate to Apps > Bulk Order Status Update
- Select your CSV file from your device's hard drive
- Select upload
The app will then update the order status and process tracking URLs and instruct ShopWired to send an order status email for the configured orders.
The app processes, on average, one order every 2 seconds. Therefore a CSV file containing 1,000 orders will take approximately 30 minutes to process.
If you need to upload multiple CSV files ensure the first file has processed before uploading another file.
