Importing/exporting product bundles
Bundle products can be imported and exported using the product import/export system.
To use the system to import product bundles the additional columns discussed below must be included in the import. Once you have installed the bundle app and the bundle extension the product import template will include these columns automatically.
Warning!
The product import/export system will only work for bundle products where the constituent products in the bundle have a SKU code. If a constituent product doesn’t have a SKU code, then it will not be able to be assigned to a product bundle through the import system, and taking an export that contains bundle products will not work.
When importing product bundles follow this field guidance:
Bundle
In this field enter a 1, Yes or Y to indicate the product you are creating is a bundle product.
Bundle Products
Enter the constituent products for the bundle here. A product bundle can have more than one constituent product, so each product should be separated by a comma. Enter the SKU code, a 'x' and then the quantity, for example: FLK238 x 2 (indicates a quantity of 2).
A bundle with multiple constituent products would be entered like this: FLK238 x 2, ASH43 x 1, TUR24 x 1
If you are using the product bundles extension these fields will also be available to you:
Bundle Title
In this field enter the title for the bundle.
Bundle Image URL
In this field enter the URL or image file name for the bundle. Only .jpg .jpeg .png and .gif files are accepted. .webp images cannot be imported. For more detailed guidance on importing images refer to the product import image guidance.
