Installing the soft add to basket feature
The soft add to cart app allows customers to have the option to stay on the product page they are on when they add a product to their basket.
To install this app select from the menu. Find and select the ‘Soft Add To Cart’ app and select INSTALL THIS APP.
Without this app being installed when a customer adds a product to their basket they will immediately be taken to their basket. With the app installed the customer is shown a popup window where they can see the contents of their basket with the product added to it:
They can then choose if they want to continue to checkout and be taken to their basket, or if they want to continue shopping and stay on the product page they are on.
The exact format of the popup window will depend on what theme you are using.
