Customising the number of items shown on a page

You can use the two settings in this section to customise the number of items that are shown per page, either on category pages or on search results pages.

When changing these settings please bear in mind the effect that a large number of items shown on a page will have on page download speeds, particularly for those users on a weaker internet connection.

ShopWired does not advise changing either of these two settings to be above 30.

A different setting may be present for the number of items shown on category pages in comparison with search results pages because category pages can often have a sidebar menu (allowing the user to quickly navigate between categories) which takes up one 'column' of the page.
